About Sahar Bartlett
Sahar has deep roots in the Bay Area Equestrian community. Her lifelong passion for all
things equestrian, particularly trail riding throughout the Bay Area, makes her
partnership with Redwood Trails Alliance a natural fit. She believes trails connect people
with nature, thereby fostering a shared responsibility for outdoor spaces. She is excited
to contribute her equestrian experience to the Redwood Trails Alliance’s mission of
creating and maintaining trails for all users. Her efforts are directed to fostering ongoing
collaboration among equestrians, mountain bikers, and hikers to ensure safe,
sustainable, and enjoyable trail experiences for all users.
In addition to her membership in several North Bay equestrian organizations, Sahar is
the current vice president of the Sonoma County Horse Council. She serves on the
boards of Bay Area Barns and Trails and SERRA Horse Rescue and is a founding
board member of Marin Stables and Trails. As a certified CASA (court-appointed special
advocate), Sahar has also been dedicated to supporting youth involved in Sonoma
County’s delinquency and dependency system.
Sahar lives on her ranch in NW Santa Rosa with her herd of horses and mules, and her
two dogs, Moose and Molly.
