A new pump track project is beginning at Skyline Wilderness Park.

RTA, in partnership with the Skyline Park Citizens Association, is initiating the implementation of a new amenity at Skyline Wilderness Park in Napa with a site near the main entrance selected and permitting completed for a pump track*. As weather and site conditions allow, the Skyline Park Bicycle Skills Course will be constructed this spring and bring this fun and family friendly feature to Napa.

*Wondering what a pump track is?

A pump track is a continuous circuit of banked turns interspersed by rollers and other features. Riders create momentum via up and down body movements called pumping. The course appeals to all ages and is a great way to learn bicycle handling skills.
