Emily Shartin

Emily has lived in Sonoma County since 2012. She is an avid cyclist and hiker, and spends as much time as possible outdoors, exploring Northern California’s magnificent open spaces, trails and rural roads.

A former newspaper reporter in Boston, Emily is currently the outreach and advocacy manager for the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition and is passionate about making cycling safe and accessible for riders of all ages and abilities. She is proud to join the Redwood Trails Alliance board to support the work of building and expanding the region’s trail network, encouraging responsible stewardship and improving access to the outdoors for all.
